 L1:Knowing Oneself:

Knowing Oneself I consider this lesson “Knowing oneself” a relatable one. As an adolescent, we should know our self-better than anyone else. In this lesson, it helps us to seek our self, and to know our self-better. To know yourself is your first priority! Knowing and understanding yourself better will make you good at decision making, setting your main goals and make you living more productive life. I consider myself as a process. Because, I didn’t know yet how to socialize with other people and how to know if they’re trusted or not. Because I learn from my past that other people are temporary. So, by the time goes by, I learn from my experience. And I use that experience as a lesson.

L2:Developing the whole person:

Developing Whole Person As I am in the adolescence stage and also as a person, I’m developing not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. As I grow up, my body gets more firm or bigger, my reasoning skills also enhanced, my moods and emotions are being controlled and most importantly, being closer to God.

L3:The Challenges in the Middle and Late Adolescence:

There are many aspects of challenges of being an adolescent. One of these is the physical aspect. I am very concern with my body right now because I admit that I’m a little thin because of not eating at the right time. This aspect also affects my identity because of having low self-confidence of having a friendly relationship to others.

However, in terms of friendly relationships, having more friends is important to me because if have no friends to share with my problems except for my relatives and my parents, I will not only be stressed but deeply depressed too. Moreover, we all know that adolescents have what we call “crush”. Yes, I admit I have a crush and that’s natural. Having an ideal person is not a destruction but an inspiration, unless you don’t focus on your studies.

L4:Coping the stress in the Middle and Late Adolescence:

Stress is the most common problem for adolescents like me. One of the causes that I also experienced is being pressured in projects, assignments, examinations or everything just related to school works. Sometimes, they are given in the same time and the deadline of all the given projects is at the same date also! Imagine how stressed a high school student can be. Somehow, it is not the only one that cause stress. So, for me, stress is only part of our lives that can be surpassed.

L5:The Power of Mind:

The powers of mind are all about the issue of being a left or right brain dominance. People with right brain dominance are said to be more emotional, swayed by feelings and they tend to be disorganized. In people with left brain dominance are the contradictions of the people who has a right a brain dominance because in left brain dominance these people are very organized logical and detail oriented. After the discussion, I’ve realized that I belong with the people who has a right brain dominance. Why did I come up with that realizations? Because I seem to view things and events through my feelings and I tend to be disorganized. Sometimes I’m intuitive, risk taker, and indecisive which contradicts the left brained criterion.

L6:The Emotional Intelligence:

Emotional Intelligence I have learned that there are so many different emotions. You can’t generalize what you’re feeling. with one word. It is important to express what you’re feeling and to learn what it is and what is causing you to feel this way. Keeping emotions to yourself and hiding them from others may be destructive for you. It is important to develop your emotional self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

L7:Personal Relationship:

Personal Relationship My personal relationships are with people who care about me and who want good things for me and for themselves. Because my life is joyful and my relationships are good, I am a happy person. I see the value in having good people around me. I feel strengthened by having kind, loving people around me throughout my life.
